Overview

Gemini VSCode Theme is a Chrome extension that applies a VS Code-style visual theme to Google Gemini (gemini.google.com). This extension is designed with privacy in mind and does not collect, store, or transmit any user data.

Data Collection

This extension does not collect any of the following:

• Personal information (name, email, address, etc.)
• Browsing history or web activity
• Authentication credentials
• Financial or payment information
• Location data
• Health information
• Personal communications
• Website content

Local Storage

The extension uses Chrome’s chrome.storage API solely to save your preferences (theme on/off state, selected theme, Python mode on/off). This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any server or third party.

Host Permissions

The extension requires access to https://gemini.google.com/* only to inject CSS and JavaScript that modify the visual appearance of the page. No data is read, extracted, or sent from the page.

Third-Party Services

This extension does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.

Remote Code

This extension does not load or execute any remote code. All scripts and styles are bundled within the extension package.

If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be reflected in this document with an updated date.
